Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) Kathmandu.

Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft] Arrive at any time, Xtreme Climbers vehicle, and a representative we'll pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Your included activities consist of refreshments, an introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction on The Trek. In the evening, attend a comprehensive briefing about your skydiving adventure and meet your fellow participants. Meal includes:Breakfast

 

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2845m/9334ft) and Trek to Phakding (2656m/8563ft)

Take a scenic 45-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest. After meeting your trekking team, begin the trek along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding. Enjoy the serene landscapes and traditional Sherpa villages. Overnight at a local lodge.

  • Trek Duration: 3–4 hours

 

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m/11,319ft): Hike through lush forests, cross suspension bridges, and pass through the Sagarmatha National Park gate at Monjo. Ascend to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, with stunning views of Everest along the way.

  • Trek Duration: 5–6 hours

 

Day 04: Rest and Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

Spend the day acclimatizing at Namche.

Options include:

  • Visit the Khunde Hospital, founded by Sir Edmund Hillary.
  • Hike to an Everest viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest.
    Relax and prepare for the next stage of your journey.

 

Day 05: Trek to Syangboche (3780m/12,402ft) and Drop Zone Orientation: A short but steep hike takes you to Syangboche. Meet the skydive management team and receive a detailed briefing on equipment, safety protocols, and the drop zone. The orientation will cater to both tandem and solo jumpers. Overnight at a luxury lodge in Syangboche.

 

Days 06–08: Everest Skydive Experience: Experience the thrill of the Everest Skydive! Depending on weather and logistics, you will jump from altitudes over 23,000 feet, witnessing the awe-inspiring Himalayan panorama. The professional skydiving team ensures safety and an unforgettable adventure.

  • Tandem Jumps: With a certified instructor.
  • Solo Jumps: For experienced skydivers.

 

Day 09: Fly to Kathmandu

A helicopter ride will take you back to Lukla, followed by a flight to Kathmandu. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring local markets or enjoying the city’s vibrant culture.

 

Day 10: Depart Kathmandu

Final Departure, Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos. A representative from Xtreme Climbers will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. Included meals:Breakfast

 

Optional: Sightseeing around Kathmandu (Up on client request with an additional cost)

Spend the day exploring the Kathmandu Valley, home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Visit:

  • Pashupatinath: The most revered Hindu temple in Nepal.
  • Boudhanath: The largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal.
  • Patan Durbar Square: A medieval architectural masterpiece.
    Later, pack your soft mountain bags and store excess luggage at the hotel.

Day 08: Trek to Debuche (3860m/12,664 ft)

Distance: Approx. 10 km
Trekking Hours: 5–6 hours
Highlights:

  • Stunning views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.
  • Trek through lush forests of rhododendron, magnolia, and fir trees.
  • Visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest and most significant monastery in the Khumbu region.
  • Enjoy a gradual descent to Debuche, a quiet settlement surrounded by nature.

The day begins with a scenic walk from Syangboche along a trail that contours the valley high above the Dudh Imja Khola. As you trek, the first clear views of Everest and its neighboring peaks come into sight. The trail descends steeply to Phunki Tenga, where you’ll stop for lunch. Afterward, a zigzag uphill trail through rhododendron forests leads to Tengboche. Here, visit the Tengboche Monastery and take in the awe-inspiring panoramic views. A short descent brings you to the peaceful village of Debuche, where you’ll rest for the night.

 

Day 09: Trek to Dingboche (4410m/14,469 ft)

Distance: Approx. 11 km
Trekking Hours: 5–6 hours

  • Cross the Imja Khola River via a suspension bridge.
  • Spectacular views of Ama Dablam up close.
  • Explore Pangboche Village, home to the region's oldest monastery.

Begin the day with a descent through a forest trail before crossing the Imja Khola. The path climbs steadily, passing Mani walls and prayer wheels until you reach Pangboche Village. This picturesque settlement offers close-up views of Ama Dablam. After a brief rest, continue along a gradual ascent to Dingboche, a charming village surrounded by terraced fields and overlooked by majestic peaks.

 

Day 10: Rest Day at Dingboche (Acclimatization)

Optional Activities:

  • Hike to Nangkartshang Hill (5100m/16,732 ft): 4–5 hours
  • Explore Dingboche Village: Visit local tea houses, farms, and nearby trails.

Highlights:

  • Panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Makalu, and other Himalayan peaks.
  • Acclimatization to prepare for higher altitudes ahead.

Details:
This day is vital for acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude. The optional hike to Nangkartshang Hill provides some of the most spectacular views in the Khumbu region, including a 360-degree panorama of surrounding peaks. Alternatively, you can spend the day exploring the village and relaxing at the lodge.

 

Day 11: Trek to Lobuche (4930m/16,175 ft)

Distance: Approx. 11 km
Trekking Hours: 5–6 hours
Highlights:

  • Walk along the Khumbu Glacier’s terminal moraine.
  • Visit climbers' memorials at Thukla Pass.
  • Majestic views of Tawache and Cholatse.

Details:
The trail ascends gradually as you leave Dingboche, passing wide valleys with breathtaking landscapes. After lunch at Duglha, the trail becomes steeper, winding through glacial boulders and ridges. You’ll pause at Thukla Pass to visit memorials dedicated to climbers who perished in the Himalayas. A final gentle ascent along the glacier leads to Lobuche, where you’ll rest for the night.

 

Day 12: Trek to Gorak Shep (5184m/17,009 ft) and Everest Base Camp (5357m/17,575 ft)

Distance: Approx. 15 km (round trip)
Trekking Hours: 7–8 hours

  • Visit Everest Base Camp, the gateway to climbing Mount Everest.
  • Witness the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding Himalayan giants.

Details:
Start the day early with a trek to Gorak Shep, a settlement located on the edge of the Khumbu Glacier. After lunch, continue on a rugged trail toward Everest Base Camp. The route traverses icy landscapes with pinnacles, crevasses, and glacial debris. At Base Camp, take in the iconic views of the Khumbu Icefall and towering peaks. Return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.

 

Day 13: Early Morning Climb Kala Patthar (5545m/18,192 ft) & Trek to Pheriche (4372m/14,343 ft)

Distance: Approx. 15 km
Trekking Hours: 7–8 hours
Highlights:

  • Sunrise views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and surrounding peaks from Kala Patthar.
  • Visit the Himalayan Rescue Association in Pheriche.

Details:
Start before dawn for the ascent to Kala Patthar, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. The trail is steep but rewards you with a mesmerizing sunrise over Everest and its neighboring peaks. Descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast, then retrace your steps to Duglha before descending further to Pheriche, a peaceful valley with a trekker’s health post.

 

Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m/11,319 ft)

Distance: Approx. 20 km
Trekking Hours: 6–7 hours
Highlights:

  • Gradual descent through rhododendron and juniper forests.
  • Enjoy views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and other peaks.

Details:
The trail descends through diverse landscapes as you pass Tengboche Monastery and Phunki Tenga before climbing briefly to Kyangjuma. From here, enjoy a relatively easy walk back to Namche Bazaar, where you can relax and enjoy the vibrant Sherpa market town.

 

Day 15: Trek to Lukla (2845m/9,334 ft)

Distance: Approx. 18 km
Trekking Hours: 6–7 hours
Highlights:

  • Cross-suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River.
  • Farewell celebration with your trekking team.

Details:
Your final day of trekking retraces the route back to Lukla. Passing through Phakding and other small villages, you’ll experience the lush lower-altitude landscapes once again. In Lukla, celebrate the completion of your trek with your guide and support staff.

 

Day 16: Fly Back to Kathmandu (1400m/4593 ft)

  • Scenic morning flight over the Himalayas.
  • Rest and free time in Kathmandu.

Take a morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Spend the day at leisure—relax, explore Thamel, or shop for souvenirs.

 

Day 17: Depart Kathmandu

Details:
A representative will transfer you to the airport for your international flight. Bid farewell to Nepal and carry unforgettable memories of your Everest adventure.
