Visa Procedure / Fees For Nepal
Bhutan Visa

Every foreign visitor needs a visa to enter Bhutan, except the nationals from India, Bangladesh and the Maldives. Indians, Bangladeshis and Maldivian can get an arrival visa at the entry points. For visa applications, you can approach them directly or your travel agent will process it for you. If you are applying through your travel agent, you have to send a copy of the photo page of your passport to your travel agent. If you are processing it directly, you can apply online. The visa will be processed only after the full payment of your holiday (including a USD $40 visa fee). The visa processing can take up to 3 days. If your application is approved, you will receive a visa approval document. You will get a visa for the exact period of time of your holiday. Upon your arrival in Bhutan (Paro airport if entering by air, Phuentsholing, Gelephu or Samdrup Jongkha if entering by road), the visa officer will produce your approval form and you will get the endorsement stamp in your passport on the spot. It’s a good idea to have a printed copy of your visa approval letter with you to quicken the immigration procedure.
